Work Item 7 of PACE (lead by DFN) is tasked to select and deliver appropriate performance monitoring tools for deployment in the GEANT2 network and those NRENs taking part in the Provisioning System pilot phase.

  • IppmLocations - where the initial 10+ Monitoring Points (MPs) are going to be located.
  • NrenNtp - Stratum 1 NTP servers located in or near GN2 PoPs that can be used by monitoring devices
  • Requirements for Passive Monitoring - A discussion on the cost/benefits of deploying Passive Monitoring
