This is probably be because PERT staff are not aware what the procedure for closing a case is. The issue of closing a case, be it resolved or otherwise, was an identified weakness of the original trial PERT and deserves a closer look at. In the meantime it is important for the duty Case Manager to keep communications going, particularly using this PERT Diary, so that any failings of the PERT can be identified and addressed.
