End System Hardware Issues

Sometimes an end system's hardware is not sufficient to support the demands place on it by high speed networking. For example, a system with only a small amount of RAM will not be able to have a large amount of concurrent, LFN connections. As another example, the architecture (e.g. PCI infrastructure) may not be fast enough to support high-speed transfer.
