• Netflow-based tools use flow-based accounting information from routers for traffic analysis, detection of routing and security problems, denial-of-service attacks etc.

Traffic Capture and Analysis Tools

• Packet Capture and Analysis Tools detect protocol problems via the analysis of packets, trouble shooting: tcpdump, Wireshark, jnettop etc.
