SIFTR - Statistical Information for TCP Research

Written by James Healy and Lawrence Stewart from Swinburne University in 2007, SIFTR is a kernel module for FreeBSD 6/7/8/9 that logs the contents of TCP control blocks, either for each packet sent or received by TCP, or less frequently based on some sampling factor. The potential applications are similar to Web100, but SIFTR's impetus is more towards TCP research.

A new version, 1.2.3, was released in July 2010. Changes from the previous version 1.2.2 (July 2009) include mostly optimizations and bug fixes.
