Q. What does it mean to be 'a cohesive set' in the context of a confederation?

Ans: While geography plays a significant role, a cohesive set may be defined by language, culture or other intent that a roaming operator can align with other operators.

e.g. One Regional Operator may geographically be close to confederation but that confederation uses a different core language for all it's operation/curation of the eduroam servie

Q. Does a confederation automatically get representation on the GeGC?

Ans: (to be discussed) Potentially and may be require certain qualities (e.g. number of members or material differences in composition)

Q. Is there a confederation for commercial entities which have research arms to their organization?

Ans: Not at this time.  Any commercial entities regardless of confederation alignment (or not) must abide by the R/O policies and the eduroam Policy Statement.
