WFA, WPA3 and Radsec?
Wi-Fi alliance is discussing DPSK / IPSK / PPSK for WPA3.
- Organisations in the US are looking at this for multiple occupation (apartment complexes etc)
- Dan Harkins has proposal which is explicitly compatible with RADIUSavi
eduroam Visitor Access - limited to NROs?
- software is closed-source, SURFnet copyright - requires contract
- there are examples of this being shared with others so institutions can run their own instance
- contact Paul Dekkers to get a tenancy on their system, or to get code for your own instance
did we learn anything from eduroam at TNC? (may have missed this)
- Still need the exact stats out of the infrastructure folks, but based on previous events, WPA3 was the most common.
  - What would be interesting is the frequency mix (2.4/5/6 GHz), and eventual look at WPA2/WPA3 ratio.
- Only issue was geteduroam service being flooded with connections (Jisc’s fault, quickly fixed)
- OpenRoaming stats need to be pulled to see what the only OR AP there did.
