  • Last changes on survey: 2 questions added by Albert about interest in cooperation concerning DDoS D/M

  • Marco: These questions should be targeted mainly to (NREN) management people in order to also involve people who have power to decide concerning this, not only technical/service staff

  • Albert: maybe add general question on top of survey about the role in organization of one who fills the survey

  • Evangelos has not added GEANT-specific questions to survey yet, but sent already via mail: everybody may check and review them

  • Marco/Nino: finding target people for the survey: collect addresses, e.g. use from attendees of Vienna DDoS Workshop (the mailing list introduced for it)

 particular solutions/proof-of-concepts/products for DDoS D/M 
  • Marco: regarding planned Radware solution at GARR:
    • mission/goals/requirements finding is very complicated and mainly like a chicken-egg-problem: so there is currently no much progress
    • -> about potential common evaluation of GEANT/GARR (any maybe other NRENs): regarding this wait for Evangelos to ask his superiors
    • -> nevertheless, if possible/as far as possible provide some description of the products offered by Radware in wiki

  •  Albert: Surfnet is currently using ARBOR washing machine
    • plan to migrate it to a new solution to be designed/afforded
    • -> if possible provide information in wiki pages about it, (as far as possible): e.g. technical information, required effort, also about original/current tender/requirements gathering process

  • for Albert: if possible, provide some description (maybe diagrams) of FOD pilot at Surfnet
     + prioritized feature requests (ideally somehow aligned with feature excel list sent by Evangelos; e.g. add missing features or describe existing ones more fine-granular (if needed) and add own priority column)

  •  In general: look at wiki page (proposal by David DDoS Detection/Mitigation Infos and DDoS Detection/Mitigation Approaches/DeploymentScenarios ) and feel free to add/change something; contact David if editing is not allowed
