Session Aim
Session 2 aims to build participants’ skills and knowledge by learning from and working through the practice of managing virtual meetings. The session also clearly identifies action steps for the future in terms of managing virtual teams.
Delivery
Online delivery. Prior to the session, make sure that you have
- stable internet connection
- quite meeting area for 1,5 hours
- meeting login
- headset
- log in 15 min prior to the start to test the equipment
Activities Overview
The session is delivered by experiencing a virtual team meeting setting (Adobe Connect) and sharing personal experiences of managing (or being managed in) virtual communication. It is the combination of participant- and instructor-led activities.
Materials & Post session Workplace Activities
- Run a number of Team Meetings based on your own Agenda following Best Practice Guide
- Continue to use your Team Communication Plan
- Obtain feedback at end of Team Meetings in relation to criteria for Team Meeting Best Practice
- 360o Questionnaire Report sent to you for review
